Pre-Cooked Hand Rubbed Chuck Roast Has Arrived
U.S. Wellness has finally created a hand rubbed precooked chuck roast
with a wonderful flavor. The 5
member taste test crew went back for seconds and
thirds it was so good! The winning spice mixture was
created by Mrs. Ena Meihausa, a housewife from St.
Louis
Missouri in the early 1960's. Mrs. Meihausa was
allergic to artificial flavorings and preservatives, and
wanted to create a special blend to spice up fresh
meats and vegetables. Using coarse Kosher salt, as
it has
no additives and delivers more flavor than regular
table salt, Mrs. Meihausa added various spices until
she was
satisfied with the taste. The final recipe consisted of
coarse salt, enhanced with seven selected herbs and
spices, which she named "My House Salt". This spice
was a well kept family secret that was released to
the public by Mrs. Meihausa's family members in
2004.
