Dear John,
Father's Day is fast approaching as we
prepare to say thank you to all of the fathers
in this great land for all the things they do
that often go unnoticed. It is a small
miracle many have time to be dads, in this fast
paced 21st century, when it seems both mom and
dad have to hustle to make a living, let alone
raise a family.
We give special thanks to those fathers
serving in foreign lands as volunteer
soldiers in the 21st century so the rest of
us at home can enjoy the freedoms that our
fathers and those men and women before them
have fought so
hard to create and protect.
U.S. Wellness suggests grilling up some
superb grass-fed meats for the upcoming
Father's Day weekend. You will discover ribeyes,
BBQ
shredded beef and leg
of goat steaks as sale
items of the week.
Warmest regards,
John, Lee Ann, Lynn, and Megan on behalf
of the
farm families of U.S. Wellness Meats

INVENTORY NOTES |
|
The following items are re-stocked. Kabobs
and tri-tip roasts are still in short supply.
June 14th, U.S. Wellness will unveil three
new products as follows:
- BBQ Beef Back Ribs
- Braunsweiger
- Head Cheese
The back ribs are very good with a great
flavor. It is suggested you cook for
approximately one hour prior to serving. The
meat will fall off of the bone with the
additional preparation time.
USDA requires ribs to be partially cooked so
the meat will still be attached to the bone
when the final stage of preparation begins on
your grill.
The Braunsweiger will be a mix of 50/50
grass-fed trim and grass-fed beef liver
retailed in a 1 pound package ready to slice
and serve. The U.S.
Wellness office staff gave a thumbs up two
weeks ago with this recipe.
U.S. Wellness Head Cheese is an interesting
mix of grass-fed heart, tongue and beef
trimmings. This fully cooked product
is ready to slice and serve.
Last but not least, U.S. Wellness will roll
out three sizes of beef marrow bone stock
that has been in our test kitchen for nearly
a year. Success was achieved with a Sally
Fallon, Nourishing Traditions recipe for beef
stock.
Containers will range in size from 14 ounces,
2.5 pounds and 5 pounds.
