Dear John,
Due to travel schedules, U.S. Wellness
apologizes for one week delay in the current
issue of the bi-weekly newsletter. However,
lead editor Catherine Ebeling will more than
make up the effort by reporting on her
participation in the 10th Weston A. Price
annual convention being held November 9, 10
and 11 in beautiful Chantilly, VA.
During the Saturday evening banquet, I was
most impressed that WAP has grown grown from
a small gathering in church basement in 1998
to 1200 passionate members representing 400
chapters and over 10,000 members attending
the main banquet hours ago on Saturday night.
The leadership demonstrated by Sally Fallon
and her board of directors is most impressive
to say the least. Not only have Weston A.
Price chapters sprouted up coast to coast but
they have crossed the seven seas. Roll call
was answered from 8 to 10 foreign countries.
Suggest interested readers click here
to note the broad list of speakers who are
presenting this weekend. Topics range from
A to Z beginning at the soil level all the
way to the physical universe and all in-between.
The best part of the weekend is everyone
participating understands the core principles
of grass-fed meats and the vital role lipids
and organ meats play in the human diet. We
were stunned to sell out of liverwurst,
head
cheese and braunsweiger
so rapidly on Friday
and Saturday.
We kindly suggest you pencil in the 2008
Weston A. Price convention which will be held
in November 2008 in the San Francisco.
The season for corporate gifts is close at
hand. Please call the office if you would
like to design a gift steak box or mixed cuts
bundle for your clients. Before the
chocolates get ordered this fall, don't
forget that meat gift boxes are a great
option. We can add gift cards etc. to
personalize your selection.
Warmest regards,
John, Lee Ann, Megan and Lacey on behalf
of the
farm families of U.S. Wellness Meats

BRAUNSWEIGER DEFINITIONS
U.S. Wellness braunsweiger
was developed at
the urging of the Weston Price staff in
2006. After months of R&D the final product
was met with rave reviews at the 2007 Weston
A. Price annual
conference we are attending at the moment.
Braunsweiger
is a simple mixture of 75% beef
trim, liver and select spices. No binders
are used in fabrication and the product is
free of the typical preservatives used in the
industry today. Do not be alarmed if a small
amount of liquid exits the package upon
opening. This watery liquid is proof
positive no binders were used during
manufacture.
I discovered today that grass-fed beef liver
is a source of the x-factor discovered by
Dr.Weston A. Price in his tours of discovery
in the early 20th century. Click here
to
discover more on the x-factor.
Braunsweiger is packaged in a one pound round
roll ideal for slicing and serving on
crackers or as a delicious appetizer. This
is a wonderful venue for liver consumption
and all of the enzymatic benefits associated
with grass-fed beef liver.
