Thanks to Jen Broyles who submitted this beautiful picture of one of our favorite cuts of grass-fed beef, the 6 oz filet. Prepared correctly this is one of the most tender and delicious cuts of meat available. If you are new to grass-fed meats it is important to note that they will cook about 30% faster than corn-fed options.
If you are fortunate enough to live somewhere with a heat index under 100 this week, Scott Mendelson shares how interval training can be successful with your favorite outdoor activities. If you live in the Midwest where you will melt if you go outside, he shares some gym strategies to go along with his nutrition recommendations.

Athlete's Corner - Scott Mendelson Q&A |

Scott~ The peak of Summer is here and we just are not pleased with the results of our current training and nutrition approach. Gyms have become extremely crowded which makes keeping short rest periods like you advocate very difficult. What do you suggest to rev up fat burning to warp speed? We live in San Diego with plenty of outdoor exercise venues. Best nutrition approach? ~Tammy, Michael and Sarah
Tammy~ Tammy the 24 HD training system and outdoor intervals both elevate fat burning hormones for the 24 to 48 hour period following each session to support excellent body transformations. Outdoor interval sprints to accelerate fat burning can be applied to swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, cycling, running and just about any other activity that fits your needs.

"Best Gelatin!"
"Aloha! I'm so grateful to get this gelatin delivered to Hawaii. It's so beautiful, thick and obviously nutritious. It makes my intestines feel great. I even add it to my young son's spaghetti to add some flavor and nutrition. He thinks I make the best spaghetti! ;) So much appreciation!"

"Rediscover what your ancestors knew by enjoying this recipe for Slow Cooked Beef Neck Bones" from Marla Sarris.
"Whatever meat is left on the bones will fall off in the slow cooker, making easy pickings for you. Once you're finished, you can reuse the bones to make bone broth and make this a dual purpose dish."
