Jean-Luc Van Den Heede sailed into Les Sables d’Olonne, France on the 29th of January, after 211 days, 23 hours, 12 minutes and 19 seconds on the world's oceans! Jean-Luc was followed closely by Mark Slats who finished the race a couple days later. What an extraordinary feat of courage, perseverance, and discipline...nearly 30,000 nautical miles solo circumnavigating the globe. Our own Istvan Kopar continues to catch good wind in his sails as he makes headway toward France. Istvan is one of only five sailors remaining out of the original 17 who left France July 1, 2018.
