Reflection & Hope
A look back at 2021 gives us an opportunity to look forward to 2022. Many of us would gladly chalk up the last couple of years as a blip to be forgotten. Unfortunately, if we just forget it, we lose the valuable lessons. Challenges build character, teaches important lessons, and helps us face the future. Whether that's as a society in general or as individuals, we grow stronger by overcoming obstacles and facing down difficulty. The quote above from John Dalberg-Acton, expresses the importance of learning from history. George Santayana said, "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." What we take away from the last couple of years will influence us for years to come. Might as well make the most of it. A positive spin might be to make lemonade out of lemons.
One important lesson from covid has been the value of nutrition, health and wellness. It has taught us that watching our diet (what we eat), exercise, rest, and sunshine can make all the difference in defeating sickness, whatever form it takes. Our gut health plays a critical role in our immune system. Gut health depends on quality nutrition. Ultra-processed foods can deplete the immune system when it's trying to fight off sickness making it vitally important to eat healthy. 2022 is the perfect time to get in shape, take a hard look at diet and lifestyle. In the new year, we hope to learn from the challenges we've faced and continue to provide our customers with the best quality food available. Shipping FAQ
Our normal shipping schedule is Monday - Wednesday. Any order placed after 10 am (CST) Wednesday will ship the following week. Most orders are delivered to your door within 24-48 hours of leaving our facility. Shipping is free, but we do charge $9.50 on every order regardless of size to help defray the cost of packaging materials.

We have experienced dramatic increases in our costs of doing business throughout 2021, including the cost of hiring farm hands, fuel, grass seeds, animals, packaging materials, shipping, warehouse, staffing, suppliers, insurance, taxes, and the list goes on. Economic indicators show few signs that this will slow anytime soon. We try to hold out as long as we can before increasing our own prices because we truly hate this as much as you do. Unfortunately, we can wait no longer. We will need to implement a storewide price increase before January 1st.
