Savory Season
Soup, chili, broths, and stews are something we look forward to. Cooler fall weather makes it time to enjoy the savory warmth of these dishes. A good homemade broth can do more than tantalize your tastebuds. It can also provide healing comfort for your insides. The gut in particular can employ the power of bone broth to restore intestinal lining, improve gut bacteria balance, and reduce inflammation. Bone broth starts with a variety of meaty pasture-raised and grass-fed bones from beef, pork, chicken, bison, turkey etc. Slow cook with your favorite seasonings to bring out the nutrients from these bones and use the resulting broth for sipping or stock for delicious soups, stews, and chili.
It's important to start with bones from the healthiest animals. That means sustainably raised, grass-fed and pastured bones so you're not ingesting herbicides, pesticides, antibiotics, GMOs, etc. Just one more reason to know where and how your food is raised. US Wellness farmer John Wood raises cattle just up the road from our headquarters in Canton, Missouri. Our farms focus on regenerative practices that promote healthy soils and happy, healthy animals. Visit our Discover Blog for a wide variety of recipes for Soups, Stews, Broths, and Chilis.
Regenerative Farming | Get To Know Your Farmer
US Wellness farms raise animals the way nature intended - roaming green pastures, not confined to a feed lot. When you choose US Wellness as your farmer and online meat market, you can rest assured your food will contain NO antibiotics, NO pesticides, NO herbicides, NO GMOs, and NO added growth hormones. These additives and chemicals have absolutely no place in holistic farming. Our farms are committed to healing the land much like prominent ecologist, Allan Savory promotes in his popular Ted Talk.
Follow us into the pasture as new paddocks are opened and biodiversity takes shape on the farm.

Product Feature | Wild Rice: Nutrition, Benefits and Comparisons
Contrary to the name, wild rice isn’t actually rice. Wild rice is a whole grain from aquatic grass that grows naturally in freshwater marshes. We’re going to cover the basics around wild rice: namely what it is, nutritional facts, and ways you can cook with it. After you read this article, you’ll know exactly how to fit it into your diet, how healthy it is, and why we love it so much.

Shout Out | Holistic Moms Network
In 2002, the Holistic Moms Network started as a small local support group for parents looking for encouragement in natural living and positive parenting. They've grown into a network boasting over 25 chapters in 14 states. We've offered support for this group over the years as they continue to grow and influence a new generation of parents in holistic lifestyles. They are currently having their fundraiser on Ebay if you'd like to help support their mission.
