We all have our favorite foods - the standbys or go-to meals when nothing comes to mind for dinner. These are generally meals everyone in the house enjoys and can be done with limited reference to a cookbook because they've been made so many times. While these are great, it's fun to think outside the box on occasion. If you sense a rut coming on, try something more adventurous every once in awhile. Here are a few ideas to change things up at the dinner table:

1. Try a different steak cut. If you haven't tried our Skirt Steaks, these make a wonderfully quick protein option. Slice thin for delicious fajitas or tacos. They are splendid on the grill, smoker, or instant pot.

2. Swap out the usual ground beef with pastured ground pork, lamb, elk, or bison. You can also blend these minced meats into a wonderfully rich flavored burger.
