Team Building
Do you consider yourself to be a sports fanatic, or "fan" for short? Sports provide young and old a way to exercise, compete, and build teamwork skills.
Exercise is extremely important throughout our lives, not just when we're young. It becomes even more important as we age. At some point in our lives, we begin to realize that it's something the body craves. It could be said that the mind also craves exercise, but we'll stick to the physical here. If you find yourself behind a desk working long hours, this becomes a necessity to combat inflammation, stiff joints, arthritis, heart disease, and whole host of chronic illnesses. Movement is a critical component of a healthy lifestyle and works in tandem with a nutrient dense diet to keep us strong and vibrant.
Friendly competition helps us improve our talents and skills at just about anything, not just athletics. These contests, whether on the pickleball court, in the pool, or on a bicycle path can help us challenge ourselves further than we would on our own. And it helps us build some important character traits, like humility, perseverance, appreciation of hard work, and sense of pride in a job well done. This is why team sports are so popular for youth.
Teamwork is something that cannot be understated. It is essential in sports, in families, and businesses. On a baseball team, you have nine position players on the field. Each one has a different skillset they've developed with practice. While there are utility players who can play several positions, usually there is one position they are better suited to play. A baseball team with nine pitchers or nine catchers on the field wouldn't do well against a well-balance team. A good team takes the individual skills and talents of the participants and makes them each better...together.
Here at US Wellness Meats, we have a talented team of individuals working every day in the pastures, on the phones, in the warehouse, and meat cutting rooms to provide you with the best quality food on the planet. We take the work of raising nutritious food seriously, and appreciate your continued patronage and support of sustainable farms.
Well Wishes, Team USWM
