Fun Foods...
Depending on the makeup of your family, you may have more or less "fun foods" on the menu. What do we mean by "Fun Foods"? These are foods that are usually pretty easy to make at home, and have a more youthful appeal. That doesn't mean that adults don't enjoy them too. In fact, most adults will find these foods bring back fond memories of more whimsical, youthful times. It's good to keep a little whimsy in your life...keeps the stress down. Just because these foods have a fun quotient doesn't mean they can't be healthy. Au contraire, these are all foods that can be fun and healthy!
So with no further ado, we give you our list of Fun Foods to enjoy with your children or just by yourself.
1. Meatballs - Spaghetti and meatballs is a favorite for many kids. Meatballs are so versatile you can make them different each time. Each variety can have an entirely unique and delicious flavor profile using the same seasonings. Try these with ground beef, ground pork, ground lamb, ground turkey, ground chicken, ground bison, ground rabbit, or a combination of any of these. Want to go all in...try zucchini noodles instead of pasta. 2. Burgers & Franks - Kids and adults alike love burgers and hotdogs. Dress them up with all the fixings or keep it simple. Add some ground beef, beans, rice, cheese, and a few veggies to a shell and you have a tasty, fun food. Find a good low carb keto shell or lettuce wrap to make it healthier. 5. Chicken Nuggets - You can do this one of two ways. The standard air fryer will help make these delicacies crispier, but you can also use the oven.
