Mother Nature ...

Mother Nature can unload some serious fury on us Earth dwellers. Massive forest fires have plagued Western, Southwest, and Northwest states. Maui residents dealt with an incredibly destructive fire in 2023. The Midwest experiences frequent life-threatening storms and tornadoes. Earthquakes are possible in several hotspots across the country from California to Washington, the Midwest, and even Northeast. In the past several weeks we've all watched in horror as Hurricane Helene caused severe damage from Florida all the way up into the Carolinas. This week, forecasters are expecting a major hurricane to hit the Gulf Coast of Florida again.

Since our Ancestors were settling this continent, Americans have been resilient, learning how to manage natural disasters. It really is no use trying to battle with Mother Nature. But, we have learned how to work together on the other side of these disasters to help each other recover.

To all those in the path of hurricanes this fall, we hope you are safe. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those in harm's way. As a precaution, we are holding Tuesday and Wednesday shipments to Florida due to the current weather forecast. If you've placed an order this week to Florida, it will not be shipped until next week, 10/13 - 10/16.

We realize there are a lot of folks who will need to replenish their food stocks in the coming weeks and we will do our best to make sure that happens in a timely manner as shipping routes open up. Stay safe and God Bless!
