All About Fun...
Ah, the joys of the early-to-mid-year festivities! Following the big holidays at the end of the year, we have some of the "lesser" variety that can be just as fun without the stress that often comes with end-of-the-year holidays. Here’s a few simple ideas to help get the most out of the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day:
Super Bowl: Keep it simple. Invite a few friends over, make some easy snacks like nachos and wings, and enjoy the game. No need for a big production — just good company and good food. Make an impression with healthier snacks boasting big flavor. Try our line of heat and serve meats that are pre-cooked. No cooking necessary.
Valentine’s Day: This one is more dependent on the individuals involved. Focus on the little things. A heartfelt note, a simple homemade dinner, or a walk in the park can be just as meaningful as an elaborate date. It’s the thought that counts and a show of appreciation and adoration for your significant other can be fun and romantic for both of you.
President's Day: What main course represents America? Why not put some grass-fed burgers on the grill or skillet. Nothing says America more than a thick, juicy burger loaded with all the fixins'.
St. Patrick’s Day: Embrace the fun without the fuss. Wear something green, enjoy a pint of your favorite beer, and maybe cook up some corned beef and cabbage. It’s all about the spirit of the day, not the stress. We have our very own Corned Beef recipe that is out of this world delicious! Slow cook for a truly traditional Irish-American meal.
Remember, these holidays are about enjoyment and connection, not perfection. Keep it light, keep it fun, and you’ll find yourself looking forward to these celebrations without the same weight that often comes with end-of-year holidays, celebrations, hustle and bustle. Cheers to a stress-free celebration!
