Cholesterol at Bay
Eating one avocado a day as part of a heart healthy, cholesterol-lowering moderate-fat
diet can help improve bad cholesterol levels in overweight and obese individuals, according to new research published in
the Journal of the American Heart Association.
Researchers evaluated the effect avocados had on traditional and novel cardiovascular risk
factors by replacing saturated fatty acids from an average American diet with unsaturated fatty acids from avocados.
Forty-five healthy, overweight or obese patients between the ages of 21 and 70 were
put on three different cholesterol-lowering diets.

Great Flank Steak! WOW! You really delivered on these
Flank Steaks (4) I got in the
mail! The steak is absolutely delicious as promised. And thank you for the tip, it DID cook up about 30%
faster. I marinated in Balsamic, Olive oil, Worcestershire, coconut aminos, rosemary, thyme and marjoram. I

Lemon Honey Rosemary Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless
chicken
thighs
- 2 teaspoons fine sea salt
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup lemon juice (juice of 2
lemons)
- 3 tablespoons
honey
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red
pepper flakes
- spinach, to garnish
- chopped fresh parsley, to garnish
Directions: - Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Sprinkle salt on
top of all chicken thighs
- Arrange chicken thighs in an 8x8 baking sheet
- Whisk together olive oil, lemon
juice, honey, mustard, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Pour mixture on top of chicken, pressing the chicken down
into the mixture to cover as much as possible.
- Press rosemary sprigs in the dish throughout.
- Bake for 25
minutes or until no pink remains in the chicken
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 25 mins
Total Time: 35 mins
