Dear John,
As the Rio games complete, we have once again witnessed amazing feats of strength, endurance, agility, and determination. Good nutrition makes all of this possible and the research continues to mount pointing to the benefits of clean eating. That is why we are here, to make it easy for you to find the healthiest sources of beef, chicken, pork, seafood, lamb, bison and more. Thank you for continuing to support us in our work and don't forget to check out our sale items for the week.
Paleo Favorites is the featured category for the week, so browse the items, make your selections and then enter the promo code "CAVEMAN" in your cart and get a 15% discount off those items. The discount is good through Saturday August 27th 12:00 Midnight CST, only applies to items in the Kids Picks category and for orders less than 40 lbs. Excludes sale items, volume discounts, and gift certificates.
Check out this week's Recipe Corner where you'll find another savory breakfast recipe. This one calls for eggs, which you will want to eat more of after reading Dr. Mercola's article about their many health benefits, yolks and all!
Bone Broth is extremely popular among paleo circles, for its many health benefits especially for those with autoimmune issues. Christine at KalenaSpire has this to say, "Whether you're looking to achieve improved skin tone, strong nails and hair, healthy joints, or optimized metabolism, or to help heal autoimmunity, leaky gut (increased intestinal permeability), arthritis, gastrointestinal disturbances, or colds, bone broth can help." Read her article to find her recipe and to learn the why behind the health benefits. Then you can enter to win a 10 ounce container of Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides. And whether you are in the mood to make your own or prefer the pre-made options we have everything you need in our Bones & Broth category.

Egg white omelets and other yolk-free recipes have become synonymous with "healthy" to many. But if you toss out your egg yolks, you're also tossing out some of the most nutritious parts of the egg.
Egg yolks have been unfairly vilified for decades because they contain cholesterol and saturated fat. But contrary to the prevailing nutritional dogma that such dietary components need to be avoided, the cholesterol and saturated fat in animal foods like egg yolks are quite beneficial for your health.

"I'm so glad I found USWM. Their meat is comparable to family farm meat we had through young adulthood. The flavor was great, texture was excellent and the grease was clean (a first in many years!)
I ordered 1 package to fry for burgers in a skillet and on the George Foreman...so this time ordered 5 packages! It was impressive and will be using in recipes. My staples are the ground beef, liver (excellent) and a precooked roast with gravy (also just perfectly excellent!) for days I want fresh cooked but not the work load. First try on the beef bacon, franks and bologna which I will be reviewing next month as I try them. Thank you so much for the great food and excellent customer service! Well Done US Wellness Team!"

Thanks to Danielle Walker of Against All Grain for this outside the box breakfast recipe! This Breakfast Pizza is a little more complicated than Wednesday's recipe for kid-friendly breakfast pizzas, but the incredible blend of flavors along with the almond-flour based crust is well worth the extra time and energy. Dr. Mercola recommends just lightly cooking the eggs for maximum nutrition, but you can customize to your liking. This recipe is perfect for a lazy weekend morning or Sunday brunch~ and IF there are leftovers they can easily be reheated for a quick weekday breakfast!
