Three Cheers For Spring

For many, spring means opening day of baseball season. It's also time to clean up the BBQ grill and prepare for some sizzling grass-fed steaks, burgers, and franks. Scholars are mostly undecided about who actually invented the game of baseball. An early commission gave credit to Civil War General Abner Doubleday, but there are some questions about that. Either way, baseball is a time honored American tradition that still brings people together to celebrate. So here's three cheers to Abner or whoever was responsible for a great American pastime.
