Let's Get Ready For Football
It's that time of year when there are only two teams left vying for the Championship. One team from the AFC (American Football Conference) and one team from the NFC (National Football Conference). Next Sunday, 2/7 is the day when these two teams will face off to determine a football champion. This will be the 55th Super Bowl and will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It's truly amazing how much food will be consumed on Super Bowl Sunday. Thanksgiving is the only other day on the calendar when Americans eat more on average. Unfortunately, Super Bowl Sunday doesn't tend to be our healthiest day of the year. It's estimated that American's eat nearly 10 million pizzas, 11 million pounds of potato chips, 1 billion pounds of chicken wings, and 50 million cases of beer on the big day.
Athletes prepare a little bit differently, and maybe we should too. Athletes look for every advantage. For many that means eating the healthiest, cleanest foods available. Those that excel at the highest levels of their sport know that food can make a lot of difference in how they perform on the field and how they heal afterwards. Fuel your body with healthy, all-natural foods and you can take advantage of the best nature has to offer. Over the years, we've fed many world champion athletes and we'd love to serve your family too!

Product Feature | Wild Rice: Nutrition, Benefits & How It Compares
Many recipes call for rice as a feature ingredient. Why not try a healthier, more nutritious alternative to brown and white rices? Contrary to the name, wild rice isn’t actually rice. Wild rice is a whole grain seed from aquatic grass that grows naturally in freshwater marshes. Find out more about the differences and the nutritional benefits on our Discover Blog.
