Fill The Grill For Memorial Day
There are so many wonderful cuts of meat that taste even better on the BBQ grill or smoker. When it comes to grills, there are options galore, but ultimately it comes down to personal preferences. Some love the flavor and smoky aroma of a charcoal grill or wood pellets. Two of the more popular are the ceramic Kamado style Big Green Egg and the Traeger. Both offer an exceptional grilling experience. The BGE acts as a grill, smoker, and oven. Traeger makes a variety of sizes including a nifty little portable unit. Other BBQ aficionados will love the convenience of a gas or propane grill. These can be versatile and provide an affordable option. The outdoor griddle is another alternative. Imagine a kitchen in a diner, but on your patio. If you love burgers and brats, skirt steaks, or even omelettes, outdoor griddles are fantastic for cooking quickly and clean up is easy.

100% Grass-fed Lamb | Domestic Demand Increases Exponentially
US Wellness Meats is owned and operated by farm families. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the foods we raise. We also need to earn a living, and supply and demand factors sometimes presents us with special challenges. Unfortunately, there are times when we have to raise prices in order to remain profitable. The demand for domestic lamb has grown considerably in the last couple years, and for grass-fed & finished lamb it has grown exponentially. The prices we're paying for lamb has nearly doubled in that time. We hate raising prices, but at this point we really have no choice if we're going to continue to offer the best grass-fed lamb from sustainable farms. For our lamb customers, we thought you'd want to have a head's up.
