Immune Boost
The immune system is a critical part of our health and well-being. It's a complex system that helps us fight off all sorts of sickness and disease we may not even know about. Modern science is really just learning all of the nuances of the immune system, including the importance of gut health. Environmental chemicals, processed food additives, too many sugars and carbs, overuse of antibiotics - all of these contribute to a weakening immune system by potentially damaging the gut microbiome. We all need an immune system boost from time to time. What are we to do? One of the best ways to improve the immune system is to eat healthy. Feed your good gut bacteria and starve the bad. Harmful gut bacteria feasts on sugar and junk food.
Adding organ meats to your diet is a delicious and nutritious way to get the vitamins and minerals the body needs. Healthy fats are also an important part of gut support. Wild-caught seafood, grass-fed, grass-finished, and pastured meats contain a healthier concentration of fats including CLA and Omega-3's. This is primarily due to how the animals are nourished and raised. Healthy soils create healthier foods. We think it's important to eat foods closer to nature to get the full benefit of what nature has to offer. Processed foods from a laboratory or factory cannot stack up nutritionally against nature. A healthy immune system is the direct result of eating nutrient dense foods from clean sources and watching out for biological hazards. Our Discover Blog has many helpful tips for finding the diet plan that's right for you.

Shout Out | Carnivore Pasta & Blue Burgers
Our thanks to (@wesley_wonderlust) for sharing this clever carnivore pasta! She pairs this seafood fettuccine alfredo pasta with our grass-fed beef burgers and tops it off with blue cheese. If you haven't tried a good black and blue burger, you really need to give it a try. It's a flavor combination that you definitely need to experience.
