Food is a big part of the family budget, so limiting waste and using frugal, money-saving strategies are essential. Here are a few tips to consider:
1. On the weekend, prepare extra protein for the following week. Proteins, like burgers, steaks, and chicken tenders can be grilled over the weekend, then quickly warmed or prepped for salads, bowls, and wraps throughout the week.
