Stretch Your Food Dollar Value
The typical western diet consists of far too many ultra-processed foods. These foods include too much sugar, too many fake ingredients and unhealthy vegetable oils. Ultra-processed foods tend to be cheap and addictive. Since, most people are thinking about how far their dollar is going nowadays, let's consider the value of food? As consumers, we all make choices and want to know the value of our purchases. There are certain factors to consider. How important is quality, price, short and long term health effects, nutrition, environmental impact, trust and confidence in the producer? If you're buying a vehicle or house, it usually requires a considerable amount of deliberation. Isn't your health just as important as what car you're driving though? The human body will run on all sorts of food, even junk food. But, at some point, poor fuel quality catches up with us. If we're getting our calories primarily from artificial foods, our body will eventually become malnourished.
Unfortunately, that's not the worst of it. Over time, ultra-processed foods can be corrosive in our bodies resulting in chronic health problems. This is likely a big reason why we're seeing an increase in autoimmune illnesses, diabetes, cancers, and heart disease. Sickness is expensive. When considering these factors, cheap processed foods are far more expensive than they seem. Focus on foods that are as close to nature as possible. Remember, food can be medicine or it can be a slow form of poison. The fewer ingredients, the better. Know your farmer! Just like you'd want to know who built the car or house you're looking at, and the quality of materials they used, you also want to know who your farmer is and how they raise the food you eat. Find out why regenerative farming is better for the planet and better for your body.
All the Best, Team USWM

Thinking this deeply about your food isn’t a bad thing, and for some, it’s a necessity. One of the most important parts of any diet is thinking about your protein sources. For most people, that comes from meat and fish. We’re going to show you exactly how to make good choices and make your low-histamine diet a bit easier.
