Happy Labor Day!
Monday marks the unofficial beginning of fall. Labor Day was first celebrated as a National Holiday in 1894 when Grover Cleveland signed it into law, but it had been "unofficially" celebrated since 1882. It's a day to honor the American worker. According to History.com, this emphasis really took off during the peak of the the Industrial Revolution when the country was seeing a shift from Agrarian rural small family farm culture to an urban-centric, industrial culture.

September is the Anniversary of Grassland Beef / US Wellness Meats. Twenty-three years ago (September 2000), we started selling our grass-fed, grass-finished beef to online customers. To celebrate, we're going to give away one Golden Ticket ($100 Gift Certificate) every week to a US Wellness Meats customer. We'll choose one current order at random and include a Golden Ticket in the box as the order is being assembled.
