Mirror Mirror...
How do you remember your youth? When you look in the mirror, do you wonder who that person is? It's fairly common to have a mental impression of ourselves as much younger, regardless our age. Life's labors, the effects of aging and bad habits tend to make us less like who we want to see in that mirror. It can also come with a multitude of aches and pains. Fortunately, we can flip the script on ourselves if we want to reclaim our youth bad enough.
We live in a time when information about nearly any subject is available at our fingertips. We know more about nutrition, for example, than we did just a generation ago. Our great grandparents instinctively knew that organ meats were a nutritionally valuable part of a healthy diet. They knew it from experience, but today it's confirmed with study after study examining nature's superfoods. Organ meats are nutrient dense and can supercharge our diet with vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats. Our ancestors ate more whole foods than this generation because that's what they had to eat. They consumed real butter, they cooked with animal fats, drank milk right out of their own dairy cow, ate vegetables, fruits, and animal proteins that were raised on small family farms without toxic chemicals. Today, Americans eat far more ultra-processed foods than we should because they're cheap and satisfy a craving. The fact is, these are empty calories and can cause us more harm than good. While the rates of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and autoimmune diseases continue to climb, Americans are eating more and more processed foods. Fast food is slowly killing us.
It's not too late though. It's never too late to make the changes necessary to improve. Little improvements can add up to big changes after all. If we add the wisdom of past generations to what we know about nutrition and fitness, we should be in a pretty good position to make lasting change in our present and future health and wellness. Consider adding some organ meats and healthy fats to your diet. Limit the sugary drinks, vegetable oils, and processed foods. Choose grass-fed, grass-finished meats for the healthier fats, CLA, Omega-3s, vitamins, and minerals. Add some exercise to your day. Then, when we look in the mirror, the reflection might still be older than our mental image, but we'll feel more like our younger self — and that's a win!
All the Best, Team USWM

And they want to know…What is the number-one anti-aging test they should ask their physician to order? It’s an important question.
